After an increase in the number of cases being picked up by testing, Oldham is introducing increased guidelines for local residents, to reduce the chances of a local lockdown.
Current testing has shown a marked increase in identified cases – although currently still well short of the levels which resulted in the local lockdown in Leicester.
From today people in Oldham must ensure they:
The new guidelines are in place for a minimum of two weeks, and will be reviewed on August 11 at the latest.
